Entry Requirements
- No formal academic entry requirements
- Must meet physical requirements for construction work
- Construction induction training (White Card) required before site work
- LLN test: provided during Orientation; a pass is required.
- Oxford English test: required if you do not have IELTS or another accepted English qualification.
How the Course Is Delivered
This course is delivered through a combination of face-to-face training and practical learning. Training must occur in a real workplace or a closely simulated environment to ensure students gain hands-on experience aligned with industry standards.
What You Need to Complete
To achieve this qualification, students must demonstrate competency in all required units, including 17 core units and 3 elective units. Successful completion results in a nationally recognised trade qualification within the Australian construction industry.
How You Will Be Assessed
Assessment is competency-based and includes practical demonstrations, real-world tasks, and knowledge-based activities. Students are evaluated on their ability to perform tiling work to industry standards in workplace or simulated environments.
